ABOUT ME
I'm Danica
I am the owner of Branch Physical Therapy. I hail from Michigan, born and raised, and moved to Kansas City about 8 years ago. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelors in Exercises Science in 2009 and continued on to get a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, graduating in 2012. I have worked as a physical therapist primarily in the outpatient orthopedic setting for the last 12 years. I love the diversity that comes with outpatient orthopedic physical therapy and the results that come with manual therapy specifically!
Testimonials
Rebecca Ladish
"Working with Danica on rehabilitating my shoulder injury has been a great experience and I really feel the difference. I felt that she not only listened to me, but she really knew how to “read” the injury and tell what needed to be moved, strengthened, or stretched. With the therapy she does in the office, and the exercises she gave me to do at home, I feel such a difference and can move my shoulder so much more! 10/10 I would recommend her to anyone."

"Danica is truly a gifted physical therapist. She has worked with me through several running injuries, but approached each recovery with total body wellness in mind. She has treated more than just the pain, but the form or habits that may have aided in the injury. Most recently I had surgery to repair a torn meniscus. I am back to running and because of how Danica has approached my overall wellness, I feel stronger than ever. I highly recommend Danica for physical therapy and overall assessment for physical form and strength to help prevent injury."

"I was experiencing pain in my left hip and left quad and I was one week from running the Chicago marathon. Danica did an incredible job of diagnosing the problems, getting my hips aligned, and sending me home with stretches to do on my own. I ran a marathon 5 days later on a leg that was giving me trouble on a short run just before! I was blown away by the results. I will continue to use Branch PT for any PT issues I have down the road."

"After getting temporary relief from multiple visits to the chiropractor, the pain from a sports related injury just kept evolving into different parts of my body. I knew that I needed to try physical therapy. I was instantly impressed by the attentive care and the expert understanding of my condition. Dr. Rodriguez helped me make sense of what was going on with my body, applied techniques that produced results, and gave me hope that I could return to my active lifestyle. She empowered me to succeed at the home exercise program with a helpful app that has a calendar so I don’t forget my appointments, all documents/invoices, notifications for accountability for home exercise, and instructional video content.
